Lienhard V is Abdul Latif Jameel Professor of Water and Mechanical Engineering and the director of the Abdul Latif Jameel World Water and Food Security Lab at MIT. Renee J. Robins Executive Director As executive director for J-WAFS, Renee J. Robins works closely with faculty director John Lienhard to develop and manage the lab’s activities, priorities, and strategy. Rohit Karnik, PhD Associate Director Professor Karnik helps shape J-WAFS’ research agenda and priorities and also serves on the faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Greg Sixt, PhD Director, Food and Climate Systems Transformation (FACT) Alliance and Research Manager for Climate and Food Systems Greg Sixt is leading a collaborative team of researchers to develop a research agenda at the nexus of food systems and climate change adaptation. B. Nicholas Pasinella Financial and Project Administrator B. Nicholas Pasinella manages J-WAFS' finances and various other project needs. His responsibilities include financial projections, reporting and analysis, among others. Longzhen Han Director of External Relations Longzhen Han works with corporate, government, and non-profit partners to directly support and engage with MIT research through J-WAFS’ Research Affiliate program. Carolyn Blais Pinter Communications and Program Manager Carolyn Blais Pinter manages J-WAFS' communications efforts and initiatives, and coordinates the call for proposals process. Avery Plachcinski Communications and Project Assistant Avery is responsible for generating social media content and graphics, as well as website maintenance, and other ad hoc administrative duties. Kenneth Strzepek Climate, Water, and Food Specialist Kenneth Strzepek is a climate, water, and food specialist for J-WAFS.
