Tiziana Smith is a PhD candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She is currently developing a methodology that quantifies potential sustainable food production in China under land and water resource restraints. With plans for a career in sustainable water management policy, she hopes to develop policies that balance the needs of people and ecosystems in light of a growing human population.
