Noelle Selin is the Esther and Harold E. Edgerton Career Development Associate Professor at MIT's Institute for Data, Systems and Society. Professor Selin's research uses atmospheric chemistry modeling to inform decision-making on air pollution, climate change and hazardous substances. Professor Selin is the recipient of a 2015 J-WAFS seed grant for her project, "Quantifying Mercury Contamination of Rice and its Impact on Food Security in China."
