Erica James is a Professor of Medical Anthropology and Urban Studies Director in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. Professor James' varied research interests range from global health and security to religion and healing. Professor James is the recipient of a 2015 J-WAFS seed grant for her project, "Leverage Points: Opportunities for Increasing Food Production in Developing Countries."
