Eihab Fathelrahman, PhD, is an associate professor at the Department of Integrative Agriculture, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, United Arab Emirates University. Currently, his research focuses on the economics of animals’ biosecurity, food security, precision agriculture at arid land conditions, and climate change adaptations. Before joining UAEU, Fathelrahman worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Colorado State University (CSU), Washington State University (WSU), and the U.S. Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, Washington.  
Fathelrahman actively participates in the World Bank initiative on the economics of climate change adaptations in East and West Africa and the World Bank initiative on the cost and benefits of climate change adaptations globally. He published over sixty articles, book chapters, and applied risk management textbooks and software for agriculture, agricultural sustainability, food sustainability, and food trade. Fathelrahman currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in agricultural economic development, environmental economics, marketing management, food security and sustainability, food supply chain management, and agricultural trade.
