Christian Man is a food, agriculture, climate, and environment professional. He is currently advising a global farmland manager on ESG issues. Previously, Christian worked at USDA, where he led engagements with low- and middle-income countries for the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (aimforclimate.org). Prior to that, he led advocacy and research efforts with Meridian Institute and the Center for Strategic and International Studies focused on global food security and agricultural policy. He has taught courses at The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. Earlier in his career, Christian was a community development practitioner in Memphis, Tennessee, where he led collaborations to establish a USDA certified organic urban farm, a local foods distributor, and a food policy council. He received a PhD from Penn State.
