Bin Zhang is the current Pfizer-Laubach Career Development Associate Professor of Chemistry. He completed his undergraduate studies in chemical physics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2007, before pursuing doctoral research at the California Institute of Technology in Thomas Miller's group. Following his PhD, Bin worked as a postdoctoral scholar with Peter G. Wolynes at the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics at Rice University. In 2016, he joined MIT's faculty as an assistant professor. Bin's research is focused on developing innovative computational approaches for modeling large-scale biomolecular assemblies, including proteins, RNAs, and DNAs.
