News J-WAFS PI Jennifer Morris receives Schmidt Sciences grant for $26 million

Jennifer Morris will receive $26 million over five years from Schmidt Sciences for her work to translate global energy transition models to actionable approaches and technology advances. Her project, Matrix, will build a flexible framework that tracks ripple effects from shifting energy systems (like water supply, land use, food production, air quality, infrastructure, jobs and inequality) across the whole economy, so decision-makers can see the full picture of trade-offs before committing to a pathway.
