News J-WAFS PIs use hydrogels for water and food applications

J-WAFS PI Xuanhe Zhao and past J-WAFS PI’s Micheal Strano and Evelyn Wang work with hydrogels, materials made of nets of polymers that can take in large amounts of water, designed for water retention in farming or absorbing water vapor without electricity.
