J-WAFS is excited to invite you to a panel discussion titled “Trading for Food Security in a Changing Climate" at New York Climate Week, organized by Climate Group. International food trade has become essential for global food security, but the same interconnected networks that move food also transmit shocks—climatic, economic, and geopolitical. A panel of relevant industry experts will examine the linkages between food trade and food security through the lens of healthy diets and introduce the Jameel Index for Food Trade and Vulnerability, developed by MIT J-WAFS.
