Events Virtual Film Festival: MIT Research for a Water Secure Future

Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at 12-1pm Eastern Virtual Organizer: Abdul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab

Celebrate World Water Day 2021 with the Abdul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab at MIT!

Join J-WAFS for a live online film festival featuring videos produced by MIT students, postdocs, and recent alumni that showcase the innovative research projects they are pursuing that address many of the challenges facing the world’s water resources.

The festival is the culminating event of J-WAFS’ World Water Day student video competition: MIT Research for a Water Secure Future. A selection of the top videos will be screened at the event, highlighting the best of current water-sector research being performed across the Institute. Participating students and members of our judging panel representing media professionals and water experts across industry and academia will share their reflections the importance of finding solutions to our water challenges.

We hope you join us to celebrate these students' research achievements towards clean water access across the world. Please register in advance on our Eventbrite page and contact Susanna Maize (smaize@mit.edu) with any questions.
