Archana Apte

Archana Apte is the communications and project assistant for the Adbul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab (J-WAFS) at MIT. Archana assists in the creation and dissemination of communications produced by J-WAFS, assists in research and reporting, and provides administrative support for the program.

Archana joined J-WAFS in January 2018 through the Northeastern University co-op program. Before joining J-WAFS, she was a co-op at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center assisting with a variety of energy storage projects. Archana is currently working toward a degree in environmental studies with minors in global social entrepreneurship and interaction design. She also manages marketing for a Northeastern University student club, NUImpact, that promotes impact investing initiatives on campus. Beyond MIT, Archana enjoys writing poetry and essays, exploring Boston, and connecting with friends.
